Wasting Money with Guild
I've had problems with people leaving my guild on the day that they joined for no apparent reason. So I was thinking that if a person leaves a guild before spending an entire 24-48 hours within that guild you get the 100 gold that you payed for their entrance back. What does everyone think?

When I was looking for a guild I would usually offer to repay the 100 if I decided I didn't like the guild. No one ever took me up on the offer.
I think perhaps if you are worried about 100g then you aren't really rich enough to own a guild.

Maybe you should invest more time in questioning the person before inviting them.

It's true that 100g is really cheap, but it's still annoying when people just quit you as soon as their inducted.

Ok, first of all, I'm not the leader of the guild, second, I was low on money for awhile and 100g started to be quite a lot. Finally, I started thinking, why should we pay to get members into the guild? I mean, whats the point? I wouldnt be worrying about losing 100 gold becuase some guy joined the guild, took one look at, and left. What does everyone think? Pay or no Pay?

I think the paying 100 gold could be to stop people in pre searing sending out hundreds of invites to guildless people without asking them.

They added the pay to invite feature, because people were sick of getting random invites ALL the time. Seriously, if you were ever guildless before this feature was implemented, you'd often log on with 5-6 invites from guilds you never heard of.
People would just sit in town, watch someone walk by without a guild tag, and invite them. They didn't whisper you first, they didn't play with you at all, they did nothing but sit and look for guildless people.
Trust me, the 100g needs to stay.

Guild...like kind of like a business...
Everybody want to own a business and be their own boss, but only a small portion of them can succeed. This is the same as guilds, everybody want to be the leader, the one in control, but you can't!
Organizing a guild takes a lot of gold to do so. First you'll need a guild hall (30k), a cape (2k), a sigil (10k). And the most attracting feature for a guild is TS or Vent server.
Try to consider joining another guild instead of making your own. You'll be leaving others guild too, the same way others leave yours.

The fee should be raised. Then maybe leaders will spend a bit of time making sure the player will fit in the guild. Might put an end to the moronic recruiting spam everywhere. "First five are officers!" my ass.

My thoughts exactly. If you're losing money by inviting people who immediately leave, then the problem isn't the fee. As others have pointed out, there are very good reasons why that fee is in place. The problem is your recruiting process. Ask yourself: what do I want out of my guild? (Hopefully you have something a little more substantial in mind than the simple desire to arbitrarily increase its numbers.) Then take the time to be reasonably sure that a person's going to contribute to that goal before inviting them.

I did this when I pulled an insomniac enforced recruiting run. A lot of them didn't stick around longer than a week, but it did weed out a bunch of people who didn't quite think my guild fit their needs.
And while I agree the 100 gold should stay, it does add up after awhile. At the time I was pretty much the recruiting officer, and so would often run out. One person offered to pay me(when I had 2 asking and less than 200g), so I sold them some dye in exchange for enough cash to invite them. They stuck around quite some time because of that. Paying that 100g is a sign of generosity and kindness. A guarantee that they are going to want invest time, not just money, in playing with you.Though the price could be raised some, that would only have more guilds wanting people to pay them to join. Raising the price would make it harder on smaller guilds, so a price adjustment would be a tricky thing.
